Thomas R. Sallenger

Tom Sallenger began practicing law in 1983. He graduated from East Carolina University, with honors, and received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Tom is a former Assistant District Attorney. Tom concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal law, family law, personal injury law and wrongful death claims. Professionally, Tom was recognized by Business North Carolina Magazine as one of the State’s best lawyers in Criminal Law with his selection as a member of North Carolina’s Legal Elite.

He was recently honored by his peers to be included again in The Best Lawyers in America publication for 2020 for the tenth consecutive year for Family Law. Tom has the distinction of being selected as a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers for his work in Criminal Defense which recognizes excellence in the practice of law. He has just been notified that he has received the highest possible peer reviewing AV Preeminent Rating for his legal ability and his professional standards for the 20th consecutive year from Martindale-Hubbell. Tom has again been selected to the 2020 North Carolina Super Lawyers list.

John D. Sallenger

John Sallenger began practicing law in 2020.  He graduated from East Carolina University, with a B.S. degree in Psychology.  In 2019 he received his law degree from the Charleston School of Law with honors.  He is licensed to practice law in both South Carolina and North Carolina.  He is a member of the Wilson County Bar Association, the 7th Judicial Bar Association and the North Carolina State Bar.  John has an expanding misdemeanor and felony practice.  He handles traffic tickets, DWI offenses, and all serious felonies. John can assist you with an expungement on a confidential  basis.
